Enduro Information:

Endurance Entry:
$349 – If you’ve entered 2 days in any other group during the weekend, this is the Enduro entry for you!

$449 – If you’re ONLY racing the Enduro, and no other Race or TT sessions all weekend, this is the entry for you

Enduro Test Sessions:
In addition to our standard Friday test and tune sessions, we’re going to offer extra practice sessions! These sessions are open to Race Licensed and TT Licensed drivers and cars.   These were a big hit in 2019, a great way to try an extended open session for things like practicing driver changes, and fuel economy testing, or just getting all your drivers familiar with the course!

Enduro Test Sessions are $249 per car – All Drivers must have a TT or Competition license, and a current NASA membership.

Garages and Pit Spaces:
All teams, please have one representative fill out this form so we can assign pit spaces near GP garages.  All teams/vehicles that are not in GP Garage spaces MAY be assigned spaces in the west pit lane based on entry numbers.

GP Garages can only house two cars at this event, Day Garages can only house one.

Tow Fund:
Thanks to a generous grant from the Tooele Tourism Tax Board, we have a tow fund available of $175 per car to the first 25 teams from outside Tooele County that apply for it

Pit Lane Assistance:
If you’d like to help monitor the pit lane for this event, please send an email to Dave@nasautah.com
This is a fun way to be involved with the enduro if you’re not quite to a point of racing in it yet.

Round 2 Cancellation

Dear NASA Family,
We hope you’re all staying healthy and safe in these difficult times.

Given the most recent directives given by numerous government agencies, and the latest from NASA National Office, NASA Utah has had to make the extremely difficult decision to cancel Round 2- 4/24 – 4/26.

As with many of you, the negative financial impact this crisis will have on NASA Utah and UMC cannot be understated.

Many have asked about the refund policy. We have never been through a global pandemic but we feel this is what is fair to our members.  The following applies to our March and April events and any other event that should need to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 situation.

Credits

At present each participant has a 100% credit for entry fees paid and we are extending the use of credits from the March event until December 31, 2021.  As normal, these credits can be used for any NASA Utah event.

Refunds

Any person wanting a refund will be issued a 100% refund less 7% for credit card processing fees. An alternative to the 7% is a 100% refund sent to you by check.

Season Passes

For those of you that purchased Season Passes we’ll be sending you additional information about your pass within the next week.

We will continue to monitor the evolution of the COVID-19 regulations and rules laid down by Federal Governments/State Governments and the CDC. When we are able to hold our next event we will also be making changes to help decrease everyone’s risk.

In the meantime, your cars had all better be spotless for the first event!

We still hope to see you at the track much sooner than later!!

Stay safe and healthy,
Matt, Dave and Cheri

Round 1 Cancelled – COVID-19 Response

Dear NASA Utah Family,

We hope that this message finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe.

These days are unique ones that will require sacrifices and we will all suffer to some extent.   We truly hope that the best parts of our humanity show through.

Given the most current information put forth by the CDC and Utah government, and NASA National office, NASA Utah has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel our March 27-29th opening event.

We know this is disappointing to all.  This public health situation is robbing us all of much needed track time and a gathering with great friends.

As with many people, the negative financial impact this crisis will have on NASA Utah and UMC cannot be understated.

Many have asked about the refund policy. We have never been through a global pandemic but we feel this is what is fair to our members.  The following applies to March event and any other event that should need to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 situation.

We are still holding out that we will be able to host our April event and possibly make it the outer track venue we are missing in March. We will continue to monitor the evolution of the COVID-19 regulations and rules laid down by Federal Governments/State Governments and the CDC.

This also postpones our 3/21 tech inspection day.

In the meantime, enjoy the extra time to get those cars ready!

We hope to see you at the track much sooner than later!!

Stay safe and healthy,

Matt, Dave and Cheri

A Few Things to Remember

Racers
  • Make sure to purchase your 2016 license prior to your first event.
  • Make sure you have a current medical form in your NASA account, and remember if you are over 40, you must submit a one-time EKG per the medical form.
  • Check the dated parts of your safety equipment. Your helmet, harness, seat, window nets, and even some HANS have expiration dates, and need to meet the NASA rules.
Time Trialers
  • Make sure to purchase your 2016 license, and check your membership status. Licenses are based on calendar years, memberships are based on the month you started.
Annual Tech

Stay tuned while we update our local shops with new SFI certifications. They will be able to provide annual techs in advance to all race cars, and time trial cars that meet the requirements. We will publish a list of our certified annual shops soon. HPDE weekend techs can still be performed by your favorite ASE certified shops at any time!

NASA Utah’s Statement on the Decision to Vacate the Sale of MMP to Mitime Investments/Utah Motorsports Campus

On Dec. 17, the pending sale of Miller Motorsports Park to Mitime Investment was vacated by the Third District Court. NASA Utah believes this to be a temporary setback on the road to reopening our home track.

We wish to express our appreciation to the Tooele County Commission for its ongoing efforts and support to retain the facility as a viable racetrack, which is easily accessible for instructional events as well as amateur and professional racing.

We also wish to thank Mitime Investments and the Utah Motorsports Campus staff for its viable plan for the facility, which includes the potential to grow regional racing as well as offer pro-racing events to spectators in the region. We feel MiTime’s publicly stated vision, best represents a growing motorsports community that we are proud to be a part of.

We know that both the short- and long-term impacts of a drastic shift in facility programs will be felt by thousands of people, from local racers and shops to hotels and restaurants. NASA Utah continues to support Mitime Investments’ plans to create the Utah Motorsports Campus, and we respectfully request that the Tooele County Commission move forward decisively to ensure a viable legal solution that enables the Motorsports Park to continue to provide services to all of those who have enjoyed it since its inception.

NASA Utah is moving forward with preparations for a successful 2016 season. We will keep you updated as we learn more.

Thank you,
Matt Guiver
